Senior Microwave Design Engineer - Radar

The role

We are looking for a senior Microwave Engineer to join our Radar Development team in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop RF and microwave circuits, components, and systems.
• Create and optimize layouts for RF/microwave PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards).
• Develop models and simulations for RF/microwave systems using software tools (e.g., ADS, HFSS, CST, etc.).

• Build and test prototypes to validate designs.
• Conduct performance evaluations and troubleshooting of RF/microwave systems and components.
• Use test equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.

• Lead and manage RF/microwave design projects from concept to production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, software, and manufacturing engineers.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

• Prepare detailed technical documentation including design specifications, test procedures, and user manuals.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

• Stay current with the latest developments in RF and microwave technology.
• Identify and implement design improvements and cost-saving measures.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance

Experience

• Minimum 8 years of experience as Microwave Engineer with Relevant Education preferably M.Sc in Electronics & Electrical Engineering.
• Deep understanding in receiving and transmission RF architecture especially in multi-channel input RF systems
• Proven RF design cycle from specification, requirements, design, integration, and verification
• Experience in modelling, design and development of X-Band, S-Band, L-Band RF Boards
• Experience in modelling, design and development of Filters
• Experience with KeySight ADS, AWR Microwave Office
• Optimize circuits designs balanced and unbalanced Matching
• Experience with Altium Designer 21 Schematic/Layout Tools

This position requires you to meet the security clearance requirements in UAE.
