About the role
The role is responsible for planning, executing and optimizing Careem’s digital marketing campaigns.


This role focuses on driving online growth, improving customer acquisition and engagement, and maximizing ROI across all digital channels. By leveraging data analysis and performance tracking, the role will deliver actionable insights to refine campaigns and align them with business objectives.


 


What you'll doCampaign Tracking and Performance Analysis
- Lead and execute campaigns across performance channels, with a strong focus on App Acquisition (across all channels - Google, Meta, TikTok, Snap, etc.).


- Monitor and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including ACi, social media, display, VOD, etc. 


- Track and analyze key metrics such as CTR, CPC, CAC, ROAS, CPI, and conversion rates.


- Identify trends and insights from data to recommend optimizations for ongoing and future campaigns.


Data-Driven Optimization


- Optimize campaign performance using A/B testing, advanced targeting, and bid strategies to maximize ROI.


- Use data analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adjust, etc.) to optimize campaigns and enhance user engagement and conversion.


- Provide recommendations for improving user journeys and conversion funnels across digital touchpoints.


- Drive organic traffic through keyword optimization, technical SEO improvements, and content audits.


- Assist in research, competitor analysis, and content strategy development to improve asset performance and visibility


Budget Management


- Own the digital marketing budget, allocating resources effectively across channels to maximize ROI.


- Monitor spend vs. performance and adjust plans accordingly to meet business objectives.


Reporting and Dashboard Management


- Monitor and report on KPIs, including CPA, ROAS, CLTV, and traffic metrics, across all campaigns and channels.


- Identify insights and opportunities for improvement in accounts and wider digital marketing efforts


Segmentation and Optimization


- Work on optimizing the various campaigns by using different digital marketing tools


- Identify friction points in the user journey and implement improvements to increase the conversion rate (CVR) for specific touchpoints, such as checkout or sign-up.


- Create and track funnels to assess drop-off rates and provide insights to enhance user experience and conversion


- Develop creative strategies to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.


- Working closely with vertical marketing and growth teams, identify segments to target in digital channels and deploy innovative strategies to address them


- Collaborate with creative teams on landing page designs and digital assets to improve conversion rates.


 


What you'll need- Degree in Marketing/ Engineering or a related field


- Certification in Digital Marketing tools would be preferred


- 6-8 years of Digital Marketing experience with strong emphasis on performance marketing 


- Proven experience scaling growth for food/grocery apps or managing high-budget campaigns in a leading agency.


- Advanced knowledge of Digital, SEM, and social media marketing principles with proven ability to manage complex-multi channel campaigns


- Strong data analysis and interpretation skills along with excellent project management and stakeholder management skills 


- Hands-on knowledge of app marketing, including ASO (App Store Optimization) 


- Proficient in Google Ads, Google Analytics, Adjust or other MMPs, and other analytics tools to track campaign performance, app traffic, and conversion metrics.


- In-depth knowledge of the latest digital marketing trends, algorithms, and platform updates.to ensure campaigns remain relevant and effective
