Job Purpose
The job holder will be responsible to lead and manage the development process of projects to ensure that the business plan objectives such as launch schedule, design quality and budget are achieved.

- Review design submissions for technical and commercial compliance during the design stage, and lead value engineering exercises to achieve target budgets to ensure that all design submissions comply with technical and commercial requirements.
- Review architectural submissions for 'look and feel' items within the delivery stage, protect the design intent, and ensure that purchasers receive what they have purchased to ensure alignment with the design intent.
- Operate within the stipulated framework to maintain legal and ethical standards and ensure compliance with required DHRE regulatory framework and corporate governance.
- Lead, prepare and provide inputs to business cases including financial, design, and procurement strategies for projects within the portfolio to ensure that all business cases align with the company's strategy. Obtain stakeholder approvals by coaching project teams.
- Propose and define strategies for delivering the development pipeline and managing the development teams (Legal, Financial, Market Research, Marketing, Sales, Project Managers, Architects, Quantity Surveyors and all Engineering Disciplines) to ensure that they are working towards the same goals and possess the resources needed to succeed.
- Lead all aspects of the development process, including feasibility, master planning, design, procurement, consultant/contractor appointment, and project execution to ensure that all technical procedures meet approved corporate operational objectives.
- Oversee and review the preparation of project-specific development and design briefs that reflect project intent and objectives.
- Identify and document risk items for each business case, including individual property levels, analyzing and ranking overall risk exposure (i.e., technical, financial, and human resources), and actively leading risk mitigation measures to ensure that business cases are secured to meet profit and turnover targets.
- Manage consultants and ensure that risks are mitigated, and senior management is informed of any changes.
- Provide regular feedback on business plans, project status, risks, and approved feasibility to ensure that project goals are being met.
- Manage stakeholder relationships at all levels, including liaising with stakeholder partners and key business affiliates.
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: - Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture/ Engineering/ Real Estate Development; Master’s degree preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Excellent knowledge of real estate development processes, regulations, and industry standards.
