Experienced Senior Mechanic (Foreman level) to oversee the maintenance, repair, and management of construction plant and machinery in the UAE.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems in heavy construction machinery.
Experience in managing a team of mechanics and technicians.
Experience in UAE is a must. And specifically in Abu Dhabi market is a plus

Maintenance and Repair:
Perform regular preventive maintenance on construction equipment, including excavators, cranes, bulldozers, concrete mixers, generators, and other heavy machinery.
Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues and oversee timely repairs.
Conduct emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
Team Management:
Supervise and provide guidance to a team of mechanics and technicians.
Provide training and support to junior team members.
Inspection and Safety Compliance:
Conduct regular inspections of all machinery to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
Ensure all equipment meets health, safety, and environmental requirements.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and safety records.
Cost Management:
Monitor and manage the costs related to the maintenance and repair of equipment.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting equipment maintenance costs.
Identify opportunities for cost savings by improving equipment efficiency and reducing breakdown frequency.
Vendor and Supplier Coordination:
Coordinate with external suppliers and service providers for equipment repairs or parts procurement.
Ensure timely delivery of parts and services from external suppliers.
Operational Support:
Report on its activities on daily basis to Site/Branch Administrator
Provide technical support to the operations team regarding machinery capabilities, limitations, and usage.
Support project teams by ensuring equipment is fully functional and available when needed.
