Could you be the full-time Senior Legal Counsel-Gulf in Dubai, United Arab Emirates we’re looking for?

The position aims at supporting the business, the Contract Management team and the Cluster Legal Director in all legal matters requiring senior legal expertise, in particular:

Key accountabilities:

• Review, draft, and negotiate complex legal agreements, or other legal documents with an acceptable level of risks.        
• Support the business in all legal and contractual matters including claim management and dispute settlement.                                
• Support bid teams during tender process including contractual and legal assessment of tender documents.    
• Support the business in proactively managing and instructing litigation, arbitration or other dispute matters.                                          
• Handling of corporate law matters     
• Promoting the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct.

• Law degree in business law (Master II) is mandatory
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in an international business environment or law firm.
• Familiar with international and complex projects 
• Familiar with public tenders
• Excellent English language skills
• Good drafting and negotiation skills
• Ability to work in complex and international organizations.
• Previous experience within an industrial environment preferred.
• Arabic speaker preferred.
