Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced Senior/Lead Engineer – Structural Integrity as part of our Project Controls team within our Technical Consulting and Decarbonisation business.
This is a technical role based in our Abu Dhabi or Doha office which will contribute to the delivery of engineering excellence through:

The key high-level aspects of the role are as follows:
- Leads structural integrity engineering workscopes and consultancy services as directed by immediate supervisor.
- Serves as the primary discipline Lead engineer on projects.
- Uses technical knowledge to perform engineering assignments and produces engineering deliverables including complex problems, with minimal guidance and direction.
- Contributes to business development through regular engagement, relationship building and delivery to clients, as well as seeking opportunities to expand scope of work for Wood.
- May supervise a small work group consisting of technical/professional staff with some coaching from own supervisor or may provide advice and guidance in area of specialisation to others.
- Manage one or more small projects, with responsibility for cost, schedule, resources allocation and risk.
- Provide appropriate HSSE leadership including compliance with site and office safety requirements and technical/design safety requirements.
