Job Summary


The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure, supporting Microsoft 365 environments, and implementing effective networking solutions. This role requires expertise in optimizing systems, ensuring high availability, and maintaining security best practices. Microsoft expertise with extensive experience in Microsoft Azure, Active directory, Microsoft Teams, Office 365, and networking.  Microsoft certifications and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach are essential.


Job Description


Office 365 and Windows Administration:


  • Administer and perform system administration tasks, including Active Directory, Azure AD, Office 365, and Windows Servers.
  • Oversee hybrid configurations between on-premises and Microsoft Office 365 environments, ensuring seamless integration and optimal functionality.
  • Manage collaboration tools, including Teams, SharePoint, and One drive
  • Monitor system health and Office 365 performance, using Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Azure AD, and PowerShell.
  • Manage Automation using Autopilot, migrations, upgrades, and implementations as needed.
  • Provide Level 2/3 technical support for Microsoft 365 including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, etc.
  • Office365 and Windows Environment management.

Microsoft Teams Administration:


  • Configure and Manage Microsoft Teams settings, including channels, groups, policies, and permissions
  • Administer and oversee Teams Telephony features, including integration with phone systems, direct routing, and Teams calling.
  • Monitoring and Optimization.

Technical Expertise and Support:


  • Act as a subject matter expert for Microsoft-related technologies, including guiding IT team members.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in Microsoft technologies and propose new tools or practices to enhance efficiency.
  • Problem-Solving and Root Cause Analysis

Networking Support:


  • Configure, monitor, and maintain network infrastructure, including firewalls, and switches.
  • Ensure secure network connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Troubleshoot network issues and implement best practices for optimization.
  • Network Uptime and Availability
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation and procedures. Maintain accurate records of system configurations, changes, and support activities.
  • Documentation
  • Support the IT Projects team with implementation tasks.
  • IT Project Support.
  • Travel and onsite support. This could include the occasional overnight stay will be required during Exhibitions.
  • Exhibition IT Support

Qualifications, Experience, & Skills:


Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience. Extensive experience with Office 365 administration, especially E5 Suite. Knowledge of scripting and automation.


Minimum Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience working in System Administration with a focus on Windows Server, Microsoft Azure, Office 365, Teams, and hybrid cloud environment, Overall 8+ Years within Information technology.


Certifications: Preferred - Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, VMware, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or higher Azure certification.


Soft Skills:


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  •  Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
