Senior Interface Engineer

Senior Interface Engineer ensures good preparation and coordination of activities between Client, PMC, Engineering and project interfaces including all project external stake holders ,sub-Contractors and third parties at the Interface Points during the execution stage.

Ensure all interfaces are coordinated to perform sufficient preparations and assess all realistic problems and encourage the development solutions for interface activities such as substation tie-ins, cable trenching and cable laying routing, plot reservation, exchange of technical information etc. to support smooth execution in construction phase. 

• Be a focal point for all interfaces with other internal and external project stakeholders.
• Prepare and conduct interface reviews with technical and project interfaces  in critical areas.
• Anticipation and understanding of site interface demarcations on documents such as P&IDs, Plot Plans and GA Layouts.
• Work with all technical and project interfaces  to ensure interface responsibilities are understood and potential problems identified
• Coordinate with client and review of FEED / Engineering documentation to assess consistency in the demarcation of interfaces.
• Issue regular interface management reports to PM and customer management
• Be part of the day-to-day interfacing between the projects, project managers and engineering teams.
• Update and Maintain Interface Registers. 
• Drive and co-ordinate Project Interface Meetings as required.
• Participate in key customer reviews and meetings as required.
• Participate in Project reviews.

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Instrumentation or equivalent) with (06-08 Years) in the Oil & Gas industry. Affinity and familiar with Engineering, Procurement and Contracting aspects in the business, both onshore and offshore.

Skills & Professional Requirements

• Have worked as an Interface Engineer on the electrical & instrumentation projects.
• Experience and detailed knowledge of relevant drafting requirements.
• Experience working on ADNOC brownfield projects / plants are preferred.
• Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft office products, specifically Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Experience

• Experience level: 06-08 years.
• 03 years or more experience UAE or Middle East
• Minimum 02 years as Interface Engineer with strong knowledge of discipline specific drafting skills, codes, and standards practices.
• HSE compliance and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
