Senior Inspector- School Inspection Department

1. Lead and apply expertise in evaluations, inspections or development interventions across

different educational sectors in Dubai including Early Childhood Education and Care and the K-12

school sector.

2. Lead and participate in evaluation of school inspection teams and providing internal team quality

assurance, training, mentoring and support for new inspectors.

3. Design and develop educational accountability systems, including quality assurance framework

and evaluation approaches, in-line with the UAE and Dubai’s priorities for the future of education.

4. Design, develop and implement educational programmes aimed at continuously raising the quality

of students’ education across the different sectors of education in Dubai specifically ECEC and K-

12 private schools in Dubai.

5. Develop, execute and assess strategies to continuously improve students’ achievements in

national and international assessments such as TIMSS and PISA to meet the UAE national

targets.

6. Initiate and provide oversight of relevant high quality research focused on Dubai’s priorities to

develop comprehensive strategies and policies to promote a range of KHDA focus areas

particularly innovation & learning technologies.

7. Direct and delegate technical and operational assignments to ensure efficient and effective

execution of strategic plans.

8. Lead on engagement initiatives with various stakeholders and provide management with

consultation on how best to address stakeholders needs

9. Share expertise with colleagues who are working on KHDA and DSIB initiatives as directed by the

CEO or delegate.

Job Specification:

• Minimum of a Masters’ degree in Education or a closely related field

• Preferably a minimum of 15 years in an educational setting (including 5 years in educational

evaluation, educational improvement, leadership or a related specialist position)

• Excellent written and spoken communication (English or bilingual Arabic/English)
