Job Description

The Senior HR Specialist will support the HR Business Partner in implementing HR initiatives and ensuring smooth HR operations within the business unit. This role will focus on daily HR operations, high-level administrative support, employee relations, recruitment coordination, Emiratization initiatives, and compliance with company policies. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of HR best practices, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple HR functions efficiently.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruitment, Onboarding & Emiratization


  • Assist in managing the full recruitment cycle, including posting job advertisements, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews.
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding, ensuring proper documentation, induction, and orientation processes.
  • Maintain and update ATS portals and other recruitment systems.
  • Support talent acquisition efforts, including maintaining a talent pipeline and internal job movement processes.
  • Drive Emiratization efforts by supporting the hiring, retention, and career development of UAE Nationals within CNS.
  • Collaborate with universities, career fairs, and government entities (e.g., MOHRE, NAFIS) to attract Emirati talent.
  • Monitor Emiratization targets and ensure compliance with local workforce nationalization policies.

HR Operations & Administration


  • Manage employee records and HR databases, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and HR-related documentation.
  • Assist with HR reports and analytics, tracking key metrics such as turnover, recruitment timelines, and employee engagement.
  • Support payroll processing by liaising with finance, ensuring accuracy in timesheets and employee records.
  • Administer employee benefits, leave management, and attendance tracking.

Employee Relations & Compliance


  • Address employee queries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Ensure adherence to labor laws, company policies, and HR compliance requirements.
  • Support performance management processes, including review cycles, goal setting, and feedback sessions.
  • Assist in handling employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution under HRBP guidance.
  • Ensure proper documentation of disciplinary cases and employee concerns.
  • Support the career development and engagement of Emirati employees, ensuring they receive mentorship and growth opportunities within CNS.

Learning & Development Support


  • Assist in planning and coordinating training programs and development initiatives.
  • Track training completion and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Support internal mobility, career development, and succession planning initiatives.
  • Coordinate training and development programs tailored for UAE Nationals, ensuring they receive targeted skills enhancement.

HR Projects & Emiratization Initiatives


  • Assist the HRBP in implementing HR strategies, policies, and best practices within the organization.
  • Support company-wide HR initiatives, such as diversity and inclusion efforts, employee engagement programs, and well-being initiatives.
  • Facilitate internal communication efforts, ensuring employees stay informed about HR-related matters.
  • Work closely with government bodies, including MOHRE, NAFIS, and free zone authorities, to ensure compliance with Emiratization policies and reporting.
  • Provide regular reports on Emiratization progress, ensuring the company meets its national workforce targets.
  • Promote and drive retention strategies to reduce turnover of UAE National staff.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in an HR generalist role.
  • UAE National with Family book

Desired Qualifications:


  • CIPD Level 3 or higher certification.
  • Experience working in a technology company or a similar industry.
