Job description

Charterhouse is partnering with a global law firm to assist in hiring a Senior HR Manager Middle East & APAC. This role will work closely with the HR team in London and USA, as well as working closely with the team in Middle East and handle a variety of HR matters with a focus on HR Compliance & Employee Relations.



About the Role
The responsibilities for the role will include but will not be limited to managing employee relations, providing advice to stakeholders, handling disciplinary and grievance procedures, developing HR policies and procedures, oversee the compliance of statuary records in accordance with the UAE and KSA ministries as well recruitment and onboarding of new hires. Additional responsibilities will include handling benefits and salary surveys whilst working with the Director of Benefits ensuring compliance, staff are briefed on benefits and a cohesive workplace environment is created.



This role will require travel across the region, therefore to be considered for this opportunity, the Senior HR Manager will have extensive experience in HR Management and will be someone that can navigate the complexities of the MEA labour market.



About you
The ideal candidate will be Degree educated with at least 5 years commercial experience within Human Resources working within legal or professional services ideally with an international background and strong experience in the Middle East. Solid working experience of the principals and practices of employee relations, labour laws, regulations specific to the Middle East and APAC.



Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English and Arabic are essential as is the ability to adhere to processes and systems that support the business. A working knowledge of Workday is preferred.
