Senior Graphic Designer

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicating daily with our 30+ Chinese suppliers
• Communicate daily with our design manager & 5 graphic designers in our sister company in Ireland
• Staying up to date with latest product & safety regulations for UAE and GCC region
• Stay up to date with the latest market trends worldwide for gifts and souvenirs
• Design and deliver original projects from concept to completion.
• Ensuring a high standard of quality is maintained on all products designed
• Develop unique illustrations, characters, and packaging designs
• Create visually compelling presentations for clients
• Work directly with key customers to develop new and existing souvenir ranges
• Create POS displays to assist the sales team
• Adhere to brand guidelines and in-house style standards
• Design innovative products for existing and new ranges
• Produce high-quality packaging sample mockups
• Review and provide feedback on junior designers’ work
• Assist with expansion into overseas markets

Requirements and Skills:

• Strong verbal / written communication abilities
• Ability to create elegant presentations showing concepts
• Ability to present design concepts confidently to stakeholders
• Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (5+ years)
• Experience creating artwork files and sending to suppliers
• Experience designing creative packaging
• Highly organised with a proven track record of managing files and large volumes of data
• Strong eye for color, layout, and typography.
• Demonstrable commercial illustration abilities.
• Ability to maintain excellence in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
