Job Description
Key Accountabilities
- Proactive co-ordination with the requestor for all transport needs.
- Moving equipment and material.
- Assist Fabrication supervisor / senior foreman in planning of transport related activities.
- Prepare material delivery forms and maintain records.
- To arrange material delivery to Hull Treatment Dept. for blasting and painting as per the sequence provided
- Preparation of Material identification tags.
- Work request preparation for Crane, blasting, painting and Galvanizing.
- Supports and A frame maintenance. Support fabrication as per new standard.
- Arrange to clear off cuts materials from Workshop.
- Crane and commetto arrangement for panels and block lifting and transportation.
- Controlling Start/Stop time of reporting employees during meal break time, through the use of existing T-card System.
- Follow the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.
Qualification /Experiences / Skills
- Thorough knowledge in various types steel works and steel structures erection/lifting procedure.
- Knowledge and Experience in ship repair and new building yard.
- Ability to read, interpret and follow method statements and procedures, specifications, drawings, and other discipline related project and engineering documentation.
- Diploma or equivalent
- At least 3 years of experience as Foreman or Lead position in New Building Shipyard or Offshore industry
