Job Description

Job Purpose - To help the organization achieve its financial goals by innovative initiatives towards cost saving and generating additional revenue for the business, overseeing the financial operations of the region and ensuring compliance to the legal requirements


Job Responsibility

1. Assisting the Regional Head with the responsibility for a region vis-a-vis the following:

Finance

Accounts

Budgetary controls

Project Budgeting & Pricing

MIS

Statutory compliances including direct and indirect tax & all Audit related matters

2. FAR verification in co-ordination with Admin, Security & IT team on quarterly basis & send confirmation to RFC

3. Ensure Embassy accounts reconciliation & control & confirmation to RFC on monthly basis.

4. Maintain tracker for business update & additional revenue/cost saving for south Asia & send to RFC on monthly basis (by 10th of every month)

5. Project/ Annual quarterly budgeting for the region(s)

6. Compliance to legal requirements, Internal reporting’, Kuoni code, Finance SOP & VFS Global policies.

7. Regular VAC visits and surprise audits so far as all the finance related activities are concerned etc. (At least 2 visits to each VAC in a year).

8. Ensure that there is no control failure

9. Compliance to internal audit requirement & closure of audit report within 7 working days

10. Ensure VFAR Compliance & submission of monthly compliance certificate by 7th of next month

11. Ensure Internal Customer Satisfaction

12. Prepare MIS for the region to portray the monthly profitability, variance analysis vis- -vis budgets. Ensure review of books/ MIS regularly & ensure proper control

13. Ensures Professional development of colleagues & team members. Recognizes training needs & provides for necessary trainings to individuals.

14. Prepare projected cash flow

15. Initiatives for cost saving & Revenue generation

16. Implementation of Special Projects such as ISO & SAP

17. Judicious use of natural resources

18. Shall adhere to environment health and safety policy/objectives and guidelines of the organization
