Job Description
Job Purpose:
To conceptualize, develop, and execute a comprehensive program of engaging lifestyle events and community initiatives that enhance resident experience, foster a vibrant community spirit, and contribute to the overall appeal of Dubai Holding Community Management (DHCM) properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Planning & Execution: Develop and implement a diverse calendar of events and activities, including but not limited to festivals, celebrations, workshops, recreational activities, and social gatherings, catering to the diverse interests of residents. Manage all aspects of event execution, from initial concept development and budgeting to logistics, vendor coordination, on-site management, and post-event analysis.
- Community Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, community stakeholders, and external partners. Actively solicit feedback and incorporate resident preferences into event planning. Promote community participation and encourage a sense of belonging.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively with internal DHCM teams, including property management, marketing, and communications, to ensure seamless event execution and maximize community reach. Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with external vendors, sponsors, and service providers.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and maximizing return on investment. Track expenses, reconcile invoices, and prepare budget reports.
- Marketing & Promotion: Develop and implement marketing plans to promote community events and maximize resident participation. Utilize a variety of channels, including social media, email marketing, community newsletters, and on-site signage.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track event attendance, gather resident feedback, and analyze event performance to identify areas for improvement. Prepare regular reports on event metrics and provide recommendations for future events.
- Compliance & Regulations: Ensure all events comply with relevant community rules, regulations, and safety standards. Obtain necessary permits and approvals as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Events Management, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of proven experience in event planning and execution, preferably in a community or residential setting.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and project management skills.
- Budget management and vendor negotiation skills.
- Creativity, innovation, and a passion for community engagement.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and event management software.
- Fluency in English and Arabic preferred.
- UAE National preferred
