The Role?
To act as proposal lead on individual RFPs and contribute towards achieving the booking plan of EnerMech’s MEC region.
Main Responsibilities & Key Result Areas
- To act as lead responsible person for planning, preparation, approvals, submission, and close-out of RFPs.
- Prepare and Lead Tender kick-off calls.
- Prepare Technical and Commercial proposal Documents.
- Write methodologies and execution plans for tenders.
- Estimate cost, time, and resources for each RFP competitively.
- Issue quote requests to third parties.
- Technical and Commercial clarifications with Client.
- Preparation of approval files, graphs, P&L sheets, cost breakdown etc.
- Prepare pricing risk register, mitigations, and analysis.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and maintain clear visibility of the progress on each tender.
- Deal with Operations, Procurement, Finance, Contracts, Legal, Tax, BD, and other divisions for tender input in a timely manner.
- Follow the tender approval matrix and ensure correct approvals are in place in a timely manner
- Demonstrate with evidence the cost efficiencies achieved through the estimation process.
- Solve complex commercial model problems creatively.
- Ensure estimates are prepared with full transparency.
- Convert analytical information related to estimates into compressed and presentable form to approvers.
- Win / loss analysis.
- Lessons learned on completed tenders.
- Dealing with post-tender clarifications.
- Ensure compliance with the tender format.
- Management of tender folders on the server.
- Document controlling.
- Any other tasks assigned by the E&P Manager to support the workload.
