Design & Development: Lead the design, analysis, and implementation of electrical systems for projects across various sectors such as manufacturing, energy, or infrastructure.
Project Management: Oversee electrical engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet all safety and quality standards.
Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior electrical engineers, ensuring their technical and professional development.
Technical Expertise: Provide expert-level advice and solutions for complex electrical engineering challenges, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis of electrical issues.
Compliance & Standards: Ensure all electrical designs and systems comply with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, civil, software, etc.) to integrate electrical systems into larger projects.
Testing & Validation: Lead testing and validation of electrical systems to ensure they function as intended, identifying and resolving any issues before implementation.
Documentation: Prepare detailed technical documentation, including schematics, specifications, and reports, to communicate designs and solutions effectively.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and innovations, and apply best practices to improve electrical engineering processes and methodologies.
Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Experience: Minimum of 7-17 years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 3-5 years in a senior or leadership role.
Skills:
Expertise in electrical design software (AutoCAD, MATLAB, ETAP, etc.).
In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations (NEC, IEC, etc.).
Strong experience with power distribution, circuit design, and electrical control systems.
Ability to lead complex engineering projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to mentor and lead junior engineers.
Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
