About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Dockmaster to join our D-Marine team at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

• To lead other Dockmasters in performing daily mooring /berthing operations, to collect yacht registration documents etc. and to deliver them to the marina office in a timely manner. 
• To perform berthing operations at the sea and on land due to the instructions of the Senior Dockmaster and Dockmaster Supervisor.
• To always keep VHF radio reachable distance and communicate with customers and other team members in a representative and clear manner.
• To work in full coordination and cooperation with the Customer Care Agents, to fill in all required reports and support Dockmasters.
• To make sure that no unauthorized person enters the yacht and pontoons. All suspicious, doubtful situations regarding safety of boats, safety of clients and safety of the marina to be checked always. All alarms must be treated as a true alarm and immediate information must be provided to superior managers.
• To check and provide support for the maintenance of a clean environmental situation either on land (car parking, dry berth, green grass, gardens, buildings, etc.) or at sea (water, quay wall, pontoons etc.) and to report in case of any risk foreseen. In a case if incident, pollution, emergency or accident dock handlers are obliged to inform executives immediately without delay, and act according to the instructions.
• Help technical team for the regular maintenance of the marina.
• Help clients with Golf Buggy and with workboats on their arrivals and departures. 
• Collect garbage and clean the marina regularly.
• Carry out any other duties that may be required to operate the facility at marina as requested by the Supervisor or Marina Manager.

About you: 

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in similar positions in Marina.
• Advanced English.
• Swimming.
• Ability to drive boat / dinghy.
• VHF usage license.
• Driving license.
