Senior Devops/SRE Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Engineer- Devops/ SRE to join our client who is an AI pioneer contributing to the evolution of energy sector.

Contract duration - 12months extendable

Work location - Onsite Abu Dhabi

Responsibilities: 

• Lead, develop strategy and implement to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our clients platform
• Monitoring and observability of our clients platform 
• Advocate for automation for different parts of platform
• Plan, implement and support CICD pipelines with self-managed open source tools 
• Deploy and operate solutions at prototype and beta stage 
• Match and communicate requirements and capabilities between development team and infrastructure partner 

Qualifications:

Educational Requirements: - Bachelor’s Or Master’s Degree in Computer Sciences or relevant field 

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills: 

• Bachelor’s +7-8 years’ experience or Master’s + 5 years experiences 
• Proficient leadership and communication skills 
• Ability to proactively prioritize workloads, working both independently and as leader of a team 
• Linux/unix, docker, kubernetes 
• Jenkins, Gitlab Pipelines or Github Actions 
• AWS, Azure, GCP or similar tool stack/public cloud 
• Git based integration and delivery workflows 
• Experience from product-based companies (preferred) 
• Experience with live production systems (preferred) 
• Networking on all layers 
• Willingness to learn new technologies 
• Experience with one or more of the following: - OpenStack, terraform, Helm Chart (preferred) 
•  Data engineering 
• Operation of collaboration tools like jira, etherpad, jitsi, nextcloud etc 
• Experience in monitoring tools 
• Experience in logging tool
