The project:
This is an opportunity to work on a large mixed-use water-font development in the UAE. Senior master plan design manager to oversee and manage the briefing and delivery of master plan design consultants from briefing stages through vision, pre concept, concept and final master plan development.

Client focus - Deliver on our promise:
- Leads the design team and design architectural projects to concept stage meeting business, statutory legal and contractual requirements with an ensuing role of technical assurance manager ensuring that the design principles are maintained by the contractor through the developed design and construction.
- Distributes and manages the deliverables through direct/indirect reports.
- Provides design and manage the developing design as per contract requirements.
- Collaborates with the wider design disciplines, client personnel and construction teams.
- Reports on progress to relevant parties.
- Attends/participates in client meetings and design workshops as necessary.
- Manages direct reports work outputs to ensure it is timely, in scope and of a quality expected.
- Supports in bidding with the wider team where required.
- Engages with business improvement directives where applicable.
- Implements training plans for the teams.
- Leads business improvement working groups to deliver outcomes.
- Identifies and implements continuous improvement plans/identifies key business improvements.
- Develops & maintains a series of both internal and external relationships.
- Manages & influences Key/Senior stakeholders.
- Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

You’ll need to have:
- Experience working in the United Arab Emirates is essential for client approval.
- Specialist landscape design management experience.
- Good knowledge of Office 365 suite and data analysis tools.
- Excellent written skills.
- Excellent communication skills and customer focus.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines alone and as part of a team.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships across a business and with all levels of management.
- Strong organisational skills Implementation of key project controls and processes such as design, procurement, tendering and project delivery.
- Ability to deal with and influence senior management.
