Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Dent Repair Technician (Panel Beater) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in assessing and repairing vehicle body damage, particularly in luxury automobiles, ensuring that all repairs meet the highest industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Damage Assessment: Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to determine the extent of structural and cosmetic damage.
  • Repair Planning: Develop comprehensive repair plans, including the selection of appropriate tools and techniques to restore vehicles to their original condition.
  • Panel Beating: Perform panel beating tasks such as reshaping and realigning damaged panels, removing dents, and repairing or replacing body panels as necessary.
  • Welding and Fabrication: Utilize various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and spot welding, to repair or replace damaged vehicle components.
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare repaired surfaces for painting by sanding, filling, and priming, ensuring a flawless finish.
  • Quality Control: Conduct final inspections to ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and Star Centre's quality standards.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and training to junior technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.



Skills

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Panel Beater/Dent Repair Technician, with a focus on luxury vehicles.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in modern panel beating techniques, including the use of specialized tools and equipment.
  • Welding Certification: Certified in various welding methods applicable to automotive repairs.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional precision in executing repairs, ensuring the highest quality outcomes.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to diagnose complex bodywork issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy components and standing for extended periods.
  • Licensing: Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
