Role and responsibilities:
Operations
Quality and client engagement
- Co-ordinate incoming correspondence from the clients and other international KPMG offices, work with large data sets and quantities of information.
- Prepare written correspondence to clients, Government authorities and KPMG international offices.
- Conduct research on client queries and prepare drafts of findings to senior team members for review.
- Take ownership of the preparation of client advisory deliverables and reports.
- Conduct tax arrival/departure briefings.
- Work on multiple projectssimultaneously and prioritise tasks.
- Take note at meetings and distribute meeting notes with team.
- Keep senior team members informed on status of tasks, significant developments and progress on engagements to ensure timely delivery of services to clients.
- Identify problems, promptly escalate and suggest an initial approach to resolve matters.
- Demonstrate ability to work on own initiative and communicate proactively with parties involved.
- Communicate with Government officials.
- Assist with the training of junior team members.
- Demonstrate an awareness of KPMG’s risk management policies and procedures and support engagement administration.
Risk management and billing
- Assist senior team members with risk management and billing/invoicing procedures.
- Ability to recognise and raise potential matters of risk for the firm.
- Ensure all time recordings are accurate and timely and achieve chargeable hours target.
Technology
- Work with multiple systems - MS Office, MS Excel and various internal and KPMG global systems.
- Participate in trainings and keep up to date with advancements in the systems.
- Actively contributes ideas on introducing technologies to improve team and client efficiency.

Technical Knowledge

- Tax qualification (or interest in pursuing).

- Stay informed and up to date on market activity for client engagements.
- Identify cross- selling business opportunities and support client.
- Contribute towards engagement planning.
Role requirements
- University degree and/or relevant tax technical qualification.
- Previous global mobility tax advisory services experience is a must.
- Big 4 experience a distinct advantage.
- Has a keen interest in progressing career within global mobility services.
- Fluent English.
