Job Overview
As part of the team, you will gain valuable experience by contributing to the business development and delivery of Procurement, and Supply Chain advisory engagements. Our team is looking for motivated individuals with an understanding of business processes, procurement and supply chain operations, and strong communication skills to deliver strategic and transformational projects across the region.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Support in identifying and implementing transformation initiatives across engagements
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of engagements, including work plans, timelines, and project management
- Ability to analyze problems, gather relevant data, and provide preliminary insights or solutions under guidance.
- Lead pieces of work or small projects
- Identify and flag risks in the project and work on mitigating the identified risks
- Take ownership and deliver a high standard of work
- Ability to work effectively in team settings, supporting senior consultants and managers in delivering client projects
- Complete report writing, presentations and proposal preparation with minimal guidance
- Facilitate internal/client discussions via seeking and sharing perspectives
- Develop expertise and knowledge of various sectors and markets
- Identify possible opportunities that can add value to the business and shares them with senior members of the team
- Stay up to date on market and industry trends
- Demonstrate eagerness to deploy tools and technology to accelerate project delivery
- Maintain strong relationships with middle to senior-level staff internally and externally
- Participate in business development and proposals
Education requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree
- Professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CPSM, CSCP) / Lean or Six-Sigma will be an added advantage
Work experience requirements:
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of consulting or industry experience in similar roles
- Experience in GCC is highly recommended
- Demonstrate knowledge of the industry (Public Sector, Energy & Utilities, Defense, Financial Services, Manufacturing) leading practices
- Experience in top-tier consulting firms will be an added advantage
- Experience in procurement platforms (e.g., Jaggaer, Ariba, Coupa, etc.) is recommended
Knowledge & Technical Skills
- Experience in Supply chain, strategic sourcing, supplier management, category management
- Strong Analytical, problem solving and project management skills
- Strong presentation, communication and soft skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products such as Visio, Word Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in any e-procurement tools is preferred
