Senior Civil Engineer

We are currently hiring a skilled and motivated Civil Engineer with 5-7 years of relevant work experience to join our client's team in Dubai. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our construction projects, ensuring their timely completion while adhering to quality standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conducting site investigations and surveys to determine project feasibility and requirements.
2. Preparing detailed designs and technical drawings, considering structural integrity and cost-effectiveness.
3. Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met.
4. Overseeing construction activities, monitoring progress, and resolving any issues that may arise.
5. Conducting regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
6. Managing project budgets, resources, and schedules effectively to meet deadlines and targets.
7. Providing technical advice and guidance to project teams and resolving any technical queries or challenges.
8. Ensuring all relevant documentation, including permits and approvals, are obtained and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
9. Conducting quality assurance and quality control checks to ensure workmanship meets established standards.
10. Keeping abreast of industry developments, technological advancements, and best practices in civil engineering.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable institution.
• 5-7 years of relevant work experience in civil engineering, preferably in construction or infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or other relevant engineering software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Sound knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and industry regulations.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
