Senior Casualty Underwriter

AIG underwriting teams help to find insurance solutions in areas including Financial Lines, Property, Casualty, Specialty Lines, Cyber, Multinational Clients, and High Net Worth individuals. How you will create an impact



Maintain the Casualty Underwriting Guidelines that adhere to all corporate guidelines and support the strategy and profit goals of the company.
Underwrite new and renewal business to promote premium growth within UW authority.
Provide sound underwriting decisions, exhibit flexibility, and price risks to achieve established profit goals for the company..
Work independently to evaluate and analyze submissions, apply underwriting guidelines/business practices and make an underwriting decision.
Maintaining broker/client relationships.
Ensure that all casualty pricing tools are being used correctly and that all casualty quotes, binders and policies are issued in accordance with regulatory and corporate policies.
Adhere to underwriting authority & underwriting guidelines.
Ensure the tracking of all Casualty Accounts of AML Ensure timely update of eStart and other tracking tools. Handling of all process oriented tasks ensuring a smooth process in place Underwriting Excellence

What you’ll need to succeed



Should have excellent technical knowledge of all liability products and common market wordings Demonstrate good business management skills in planning, organizational ability, decision-making, and priority setting with superior time management skills.
Ability to work independently, self-manages, organizes and prioritizes work with minimal direction from superiors.
Ability to establish trust and effective working relationships with team, filed offices and producers.
Integrity, image, communication skills, interpersonal skills at an established high professional level.
Commitment to maintain and develop underwriting skills and technical knowledge.
