Job Description
Role Purpose
Implement content development plans, strategies, and projects in accordance with best practices, standards, and methods to contribute to supporting the efforts of the Corporate Communications Office in enabling the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre to achieve its mission, priorities, and strategic goals. Develop and edit all content with high quality and accuracy in accordance with the strategies and plans of the Corporate Communications Office to support the team in achieving the goals of communication and public relations at the internal and external levels successfully and in accordance with the desired results.
Key Responsibilities
Planning & Strategies
- Implement plans and strategies for developing and editing content to develop and launch consistent, accurate, and high-quality content across various means, in accordance with the plans and objectives of the Corporate Communications Office and the objectives of the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre.
Content Development Standards & Procedures
- Contribute to defining and developing procedures, standards, and policies for collecting and developing content, editing, publishing, and modifying it in accordance with best practices, regulations, and standards in cooperation with the relevant Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre teams to serve the achievement of the goals and priorities of the Centre, its initiatives, and programmes.
- Contribute to developing and adopting plans and tools to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of content written in Arabic and its effectiveness in engaging and attracting the general public, collecting data, using logical analysis, and making recommendations based on the results.
- Ensure the preparation, development, and publication of Arabic language content in accordance with the calendar and schedules set by the Corporate Communications Office.
Content Development & Review
- Gather information and develop content in Arabic according to specific needs, details and goals, to develop and publish content that reflects the goals, priorities and plans of the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre.
- Review the content of the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre and supervise its accuracy, and ensure that the content of the Arabic language is consistent with the institutional identity of the centre and its consistency, clarity, and quality through various means and platforms, including - but not limited to - the media, the Internet, social networking sites, e-mail, publications, as well as other means and platforms.
- Ensure that the general content, content of newsletters, and media coverage is in line with the strategy and priorities of the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre and the general strategic direction of the Abu Dhabi Government.
- Prepare all Arabic circulars, press releases related to the centre, briefing documents, media coverage and all other content in line with grammar, writing style and other editorial details specified by the team.

- Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

- Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes, and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement, and cost reduction.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, Public Relations, or equivalent.
Experience
- 3 Years of experience in content development, editing, marketing and media, or equivalent.
