The Position

We are building a team of ‘Mass Spectrometry Service Experts’ - technicians and scientists - who will be responsible for the customer support of our new Mass Spectrometry analyzer. This international team will do the cross-country support remotely and on-site in Europe and Middle East.  Do you feel the passion, and would you like to be part of this new exciting journey?


Purpose


We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Application Specialist with mass spectrometry (MS) experience and/or liquid chromatography (LC) knowledge to join our international team. As an Application Expert, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive cross-border support to our customers in hospitals and commercial laboratories and to our field service colleagues in Europe and the Middle East. This role involves remote- and on-site service activities including handling inquiries, troubleshooting failures, conducting trainings, and ensuring information and knowledge transfer.


You Responsibilities


  • You will handle customer and staff inquiries through phone, digital tools, and written communication.


  • You will identify and troubleshoot failures remotely and manage complex complaints.


  • You conduct customer and staff training on the new Roche Mass Spec analyzer.


  • You support product updates, launches and monitoring.


  • You perform different on-site service activities (e.g. installations, maintenances and modifications) and troubleshoot complex failures


Who You Are


  • You hold a Master/Bachelor in Natural Sciences (e.g., biology, chemistry) or Biomedical Engineering) or related


  • You have a substantial level of experience in the medical or technical environment, with focus on quantitative mass spectrometry and / or liquid chromatography. And advanced application knowledge in medical analysis systems and quality assurance; IT knowledge (connections and network) and engineering experience are appreciable


  • You are customer focused and good at establishing rapport with customers


  • You have excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively, and able to work effectively in an intercultural team environment; high conflict resolution skills


  • You have advanced analytical and problem-solving skill, and are able to work under pressure


  • You are fluent in both English and Arabic language


  • You are flexible, mobile, and willing to travel up to 25% of the time across Middle East and Europe
