Job Description

A HIGHLY METICULOUS, PROACTIVE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT is required to join our company based in Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai, U.A.E.

PRECISION, CONSISTENCY, RELIABILITY and the ability to work AUTONOMOUSLY are compulsory.

Candidates are required to work INDEPENDENTLY.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process accounting data entry transactions (Invoicing, JV, PV…)
  • Maintain highly organized and updated soft and hard copies filing
  • Conclude end of month closing (depreciation, accruals, provision, difference of exchange...) in addition to monthly reconciliations
  • Finalize internal reporting within agreed time schedule (Cash Flow, Balance Sheet, P/L…)
  • Cooperates with external auditors and Tax Authorities in case of tax reviews
  • Handle back to back shipment documentation process ensuring documents are being issued in accordance with company policy and customs regulation.

Documents to be issued and followed up are:

Proforma Invoice / Shipping Instruction / Bill of Ladings / Arab League Certificate of origin / Insurance policies...

Skills

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting with a minimum progressive experience of 10 years.


SKILLS

  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office mainly Outlook & Excel.
  • Experienced in INCOTERMS (Ex Works, CFR, CIF,...), International payment terms (CAD, Avalized Drafts, ...)
