POSITION: Senior Accountant

JOB SUMMARY

Independently run finance & accounting function of transshipment company. The accounting scope is straightforward: one AR line and approx. 3 operations per day on AP side. Participation in new IT system development will be part of the job

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Preparing financial statements, producing accounting reports, and checking them for accuracy
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
• In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Familiarity with financial accounting statements

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• General Ledgers experience is a must.
• Experience in UAE is a must
• Qualified accountant 
• Experience with ERP class system is a plus

Salary: AED 7,000-9,000 depending on experience
