Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and oversee the security team's daily activities.
  • Ensure the security team implements company policies and procedures.
  • Regularly inspect and monitor the security equipment and systems.
  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
  • Investigate security incidents and take corrective actions when necessary.
  • Coordinate with local law enforcement when needed.
  • Train and educate security personnel on emergency preparedness and response.
  • Attend meetings with upper management to discuss security-related issues.
  • Regularly review and update security protocols to ensure effectiveness.


Skills

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a security supervisor or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Familiarity with security systems and equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
  • Analytical skills and the ability to identify potential security risks and threats.
  • Knowledge of emergency response procedures.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A bachelor's degree in criminal justice, security, or a related field is preferred.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Working Conditions:

  • This job may require working outside in various weather conditions.
  • May be required to work extended hours, weekends or holidays in emergency situations.
  • May be required to stand, walk or sit for extended periods of time
