GEMS Royal Dubai School is a vibrant, Premium British School (currently FS1 – Year 7), expanding to Year 8 in September 2025 and growing annually to Year 13 . Job Purpose:
To teach across Key Stage 3 (growing into Key Stage 4 and 5) as a subject specialist enabling an outstanding, holistic, and dynamic experience for our students which lead to exceptionally high outcomes.
Key Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Be committed to the pursuit of excellence for all
Demonstrate very strong subject knowledge across Key Stage 3 , 4 and 5 of the NCfE
Deliver consistently outstanding teaching and learning experiences; collaborating and sharing best practice.
Use student data to optimise progress and personalise learning
Have a High Performance Mindset, being reflective and solution focused at all times
Be creative and enthusiastic in approach to teaching
Be committed to the safeguarding of, and the personal and social development of students
W ork effectively with colleagues, students and parents using excellent interpersonal skills

M ake a positive contribution to our school community and culture through active engagement in our extra-curricular programme and community based events

Skills
Hold a Bachelors Degree in English, obtained in the UK
Be QTS certified
Hold a PGCE
Have proven experience of teaching across Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 of the NCfE
Education
BA in English plus PGCE
