The Landscape Architect will be responsible for overseeing and managing all landscape architecture activities in a transportation project as a client representative. This role involves validating the design provided by contractor s , ensuring compliance with landscape architecture standards, and providing support during the construction supervision phase. Roles and Responsibilities: Validate the landscape design from the landscape contractor, ensuring compliance with project requirements and landscape architecture standards (local/international and AtkinsRéalis standards) Prior experience in c onduct landscape analysis should help in provid ing recommendations for planting, hardscaping, and other landscape elements. Liaise with external consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with landscape requirements. Qualifications and Educational Requirements: Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design software. Knowledge and Experience: Minimum of 10 – 15+ years of experience in landscape architecture, preferably in large-scale infrastructure or transportation projects. In-depth knowledge of landscape architecture principles, construction contracts, and industry standards. Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple landscape aspects and stakeholders effectively. Knowledge of sustainable design practices and LEED certification principles is desirable. Experience working in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries is advantageous. Similar experience in a large transportation/ infrastructure project will be a desirable . Preferred Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate landscape-related risks specific to large-scale infrastructure projects. Proven leadership skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team in a high-pressure environment. Experience in managing complex projects, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex landscape information clearly and concisely to stakeholders at all levels.
