Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and proactive School Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our school’s technical systems, providing support for various school activities, and maintaining a safe and efficient learning environment.
Skills
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot technical equipment and systems across the school. Set up and support technical requirements for school events, assemblies, and presentations. Provide assistance with the installation and maintenance of multimedia equipment and related technologies. Collaborate with staff to ensure the effective use of technical tools and resources in classrooms. Manage and maintain the inventory of technical and electronic equipment. Support IT and facility management teams with technical tasks as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Diploma or degree in a technical field (e.g., electronics, IT, or engineering). Hands-on experience with technical maintenance, including audio-visual (AV) equipment, projectors, sound systems, and basic IT troubleshooting. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with staff and vendors. Flexibility to support occasional after-hours school events.
