Job Description

The Scaffolder Inspector plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of scaffolding structures within the oil and gas industry. This position involves inspecting scaffolding installations, ensuring they meet safety standards, and providing guidance on best practices. The Scaffolder Inspector collaborates closely with construction teams to maintain high safety standards while optimizing workflow efficiency. With a minimum of two years of experience, candidates will be expected to demonstrate a strong understanding of scaffolding regulations and practices.


Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough inspections of scaffolding structures to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  2. Provide detailed reports on scaffolding conditions and recommend necessary repairs or modifications.
  3. Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to develop scaffolding plans that meet project requirements.
  4. Train and mentor scaffolding personnel on safety standards and best practices.
  5. Monitor scaffolding installation processes to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  6. Participate in safety meetings and contribute to the development of safety policies.
  7. Assist in the preparation of documentation for safety audits and inspections.
  8. Evaluate and recommend scaffolding equipment and materials for various projects.
  9. Ensure that all scaffolding work is completed within project timelines and budget constraints.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in scaffolding regulations.


Preferred Candidate:

  1. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  4. Proficient in scaffolding inspection techniques and safety standards.
  5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions.
  6. Willingness to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
  7. Team player with a proactive approach to safety and compliance.
  8. Relevant certifications in scaffolding inspection are a plus.
  9. Experience in the oil and gas industry is highly desirable.
  10. Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.

Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of scaffolding regulations and standards.
  • Proficiency in conducting safety inspections and risk assessments.
  • Strong analytical skills for evaluating scaffolding conditions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to train and mentor staff on safety practices.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Qualification: CISRS Inspection Certificate. Experience: Minimum 2 years in the respective trade (ADNOC approval preferred)

Work Location: The positions are based in Habshan and Bu Hasa, both major oil and gas facilities in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
