We are seeking a skilled SCADA PLC Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for PLC programming, SCADA integration, RTU configuration, and HMI development for industrial automation projects. This role requires expertise in automation systems, control logic, and troubleshooting to ensure efficient system operations.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Design, develop, and program PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems for industrial automation.
🔹 Integrate, configure, and maintain SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems for monitoring and control applications.
🔹 Configure and manage RTU (Remote Terminal Units) for data acquisition and communication.
🔹 Develop and customize HMI (Human Machine Interface) applications for seamless operator interaction.
🔹 Troubleshoot and resolve PLC, SCADA, RTU, and HMI-related issues.
🔹 Work with various communication protocols such as MODBUS, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, OPC, etc.
🔹 Conduct system testing, commissioning, and on-site support for automation projects.
🔹 Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical and software engineers, for successful project execution.
🔹 Maintain technical documentation, wiring diagrams, and system reports.
🔹 Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in automation and control systems.
✅ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering.
✅ 2 to 5 years of experience in PLC programming, SCADA integration, and automation systems.
✅ Hands-on experience with PLC brands such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, or Mitsubishi.
✅ Strong understanding of SCADA software (WinCC, Wonderware, Ignition, or iFix).
✅ Knowledge of RTU setup, industrial communication protocols, and networking.
✅ Ability to develop and troubleshoot HMI applications for industrial automation.
✅ Experience in working with industrial sensors, actuators, and field devices.
✅ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
✅ Willingness to travel for on-site commissioning and support when required.
