SAP Project Systems Administrator

I am working with a huge real estate business in the UAE, which is looking for a SAP Project Systems Administrator to join them in Dubai, on an initial 12-month contract:

The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing and optimizing SAP Project Systems to support efficient project planning, execution, and resource management. This position requires close collaboration with project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and configure SAP Project Systems (PS) modules within S/4 HANA on Cloud to meet business requirements.
• Work with project managers and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions for project planning, execution, and monitoring.
• Develop and maintain project structures, including work breakdown structures (WBS), networks, and milestones, to enable effective project management.
• Monitor project performance by tracking budgets, schedules, and resource allocations to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Provide training and support to end-users on SAP PS functionalities and industry best practices.
• Conduct system testing and validation to maintain data integrity and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP Project Systems and their integration with other SAP modules, such as FI, CO, and MM.
• Document processes, configurations, and user guides to support ongoing operations and future training needs.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience with SAP Project Systems, specifically within S/4 HANA on Cloud. Prior experience in the real estate development or construction industry in the UAE or GCC is highly desirable.
• Technical Skills: Expertise in SAP Project Systems within S/4 HANA on Cloud, with a strong understanding of project management principles, including configuring and managing project structures, budgets, and schedules.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities with excellent attention to detail.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Language: Proficiency in English is required.
