OBJECTIVE
The F2R Consultant is responsible for ensuring the SAP S/4HANA solution meets business goals related to financial reporting and regulatory compliance. Acting as a liaison between business stakeholders and the project team, the consultant translates financial reporting requirements into system configurations, validating the delivered solution’s effectiveness.
SAP Finance to Report (F2R) Consultant with 15+ years of experience in implementing, configuring, and optimizing SAP Finance solutions for global organizations. Specialized in General Ledger (GL), Financial Accounting (FI), Reporting, and Consolidation. Expertise in SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC, with a proven track record of improving financial reporting efficiency, ensuring compliance, and driving business value through process enhancements. Adept at working with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet business requirements.
Requirements
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the implementation of SAP F2R processes, including GL accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial closing in SAP ECC and S/4HANA.
- Configure and optimize the SAP Financial Accounting (FI) module to streamline financial transaction processing, ensuring accurate general ledger entries and effective financial reporting.
- Implement SAP S/4HANA functionalities for real-time reporting and financial analysis, improving month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Provide expertise in financial consolidation using SAP BPC, assisting in consolidating financial statements across multiple entities in a group structure.
- Design and optimize financial reports in SAP Fiori and BW, enhancing decision-making and reporting accuracy for business stakeholders.
- Conduct workshops and training for users on SAP finance functionalities, improving user adoption and reducing support queries.
- Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP Financials (focus on FICO Controlling Cost Centre Accounting, Profit Centre Accounting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, Project System, Results Analysis, Unsettled Costs, Month End Close, Overhead assessment and settlement.
- HANDS-ON role - execute FICO configuration, functional documentation, testing plans and results, system documentation and training materials.
- Design and test solutions to ensure they meet business requirements efficiently and effectively. Architect, configure, and implement a large-scale, complex SAP Finance solution.
- Preparation of Blueprint for Inhouse implementing rollout the project.
- Sort out day to day (L3 & L4) queries of end users.
- Coordinate with Implementation partners on roll-out projects.
- Guide and Mentor other FICO consultants in the SAP team.
- Troubleshooting and resolving SAP FICO-related issues
- Provide training to the Internal SAP team in all FICO functional aspects.
- Collaborating with other SAP consultants and cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive implementation
- Experience in EDI Setup and interfaces setup to Other external systems.
Skillset Required:
- 15+ years SAP experience, with a focus on Finance to Report processes.
- Proven experience in highly regulated manufacturing environments.
- Advanced understanding of financial processes and tools.
- Expertise in financial risk management and regulatory compliance.
- Strong communication and change management skills.
- Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori.
- Fluent in English; German/French is a plus.
