Job Description

The Professional Sound Sales Manager of our brands Electro-Voice and Dynacord grows business above market, focusing on Retail accounts and Retail market in the MEA region, both offline and online or hybrid, develops sales strategies and ensures implementation. With strong focus on market trends and core verticals the manager creates demand and increases sales. Creating key customer relations through smart business development in coordination with local players and major influencer groups is the engine for repeating success. An agile and lean account management, quotation- and essential technical support for regional customers in combination with a strong hunting mindset completes the profile.


Job Description:


• Sales management in Retail market segment
• Focus on developing further regional coverage excellence in classic Brick & Mortar
• Develop strategic footprint in online and hybrid (online/offline) channel
• Actively manage customer structure in the region (customer pyramid)
• Ensure sales targets by increasing share of wallet with existing customers and in existing business, identifying additional business opportunities (e.g. cross-selling) or developing potential new ones in the region
• Conduct regular customer visits and establish close relationship with customers in the region
• Take over local business development activities in the region to support local customer base
• Work closely with marketing communications team to define local promotions and digital marketing concepts
• Ensure sophisticated brand and product representation in Brick & Mortar
• Ensure excellence in brand and product listing at key Onliner
• Provide feedback on market trends, customer/end-user needs and support collection of competitor information (portfolio as well as industries)
• Insert customer related data such as account information, activities, opportunities regularly into CRM and make use of available CRM data and reports to follow-up
• Timely inform supply chain on extraordinary demand (e.g. special sales initiatives, promotions) which is not covered by regular forecast
• Support cross-border opportunities
• Participate in trade shows and share information on products and services



Qualifications

• Strong customer focus
• Team player with strong hunting mindset and motivation 
• At least 5 years of sales experience with a focus on Retail market segment
• Strong understanding of customer journey in online and offline
• Strong understanding of market pricing dynamics and price waterfalls
• Ability to establish & implement local marketing plans together with marketing team
• Strong ability to develop distributor, reseller and influencer relationships through interpersonal communications.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in fluent English
• Additional regional MEA languages like Arabic, etc. is an advantage
• Presentation skills
• Analytical competency and PC skills
• Ability to plan, organize and follow through/implement activities to achieve timely, accurate results, focusing on key priorities and effectively juggling multiple projects
• Up to 75% travel (majorly regional) required.
• Existing channel and influencer relationships are valued.
