What you will do:


  • Strategy Development: Proactively identifies new customers and business opportunities based on market insights within the assigned segment and region. Formulates and implements sales strategies in collaboration with stakeholders to expand market presence, improve business performance, and achieve regional sales objectives.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Builds and maintains strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and accounts to drive sales growth, increase turnover, and enhance customer satisfaction. Conducts training, seminars, and consultations to create product awareness and deliver value to clients, consultants, and the sales team.
  • Sales Execution and Support: Prepares technical-commercial quotations and project calculations, leveraging market data and customer requirements with back-office support. Ensures smooth project handovers to the execution team while conducting direct sales in regions without distributors or partners.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Tracks market trends, business conditions, and account status to identify new opportunities, inform stakeholders of potential developments, and support the refinement of sales strategies. Reports regularly on quotations, orders, lost opportunities, and best practices to standardize processes and improve offerings.
  • Collaboration and Coaching: Supports and coaches partners and subsidiaries on technical and commercial aspects of products and solutions. Engages in joint consultations with potential clients to analyze needs, provide recommendations, and align product offerings with requirements.
  • Quotations and Negotiations: Understands customer needs and product specifications to prepare tailored quotations and negotiate effectively. Ensures clear communication and handovers for project execution, promoting alignment and successful delivery.
  • Event Participation: Represents the company at customer meetings, trade shows, and local events to support distributors, enhance market visibility, and provide feedback to management.
  • Other tasks as assigned by manager.

To be successful in this role you will need to have the following qualifications:


Qualification/ Experience and Competencies


  • Bachelors or Master Degree in Electro-mechanical /Electrical Engineering or related Engineering field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the field within the market of critical infrastructure/ infrastructure/ construction & installation/ energy business, or comparable
  • Extended market knowledge about international and Middle East specific engineering codes standard and regulations as well as project specifications applicable for Power Generation segment is preferred.
  • Good experience, understanding and sound knowledge of operation of engines and systems used in Powergen industry. Technical product knowledge.
  • Proven record of building good business relationships with senior management at distributors, customers and consultant organizations.
  • Experience in project execution (technical & commercial) and coordination of complex projects (commercial).
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of contract law desirable.
  • Knowledge in spreadsheet analysis and financial management.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work extended periods without supervision.
  • Willingness to work in teams, also ability to work independently.
  • Computer skills and knowledge of Windows-Office programs.
