Job Description: Sales Manager, Downstream solutions

2. The Context / Purpose of the Job
Align with overall objectives of the organisation to meet long- and short-term objectives of the Business by
understanding existing and future needs of the customers. Identify applications and develop new products and
services for the leading construction companies in need of downstream solutions like Readybuild (Cut
& Bend) and Sm@rtFAB (welded wire mesh, etc.). Achieve annual business targets through sales and
market development of the identified customer and deployment of market-facing initiatives.
3. Job responsibilities:

1. Meeting Sales Targets of Downstream solutions, i.e. Sm@rtFAB (welded wire mesh) and
Readybuild (cut and bend) as per OSP/ABP.
2. Generate consumer insights: Visiting Customer Sites, Preparing Customer Site Visit reports, and
seeking feedback from the customers.
3. Market development of Downstream solutions. Organise Builder promoters and architects to meet.
Visiting various customers and explaining the value proposition to convert them to
Downstream customers.
4. Track progress in construction and other related industry in India and in developed economies to
ensure quick implementation. Monthly visits to institutional customer sites. Tracking and forecasting
construction practices development in India and abroad. Mapping the evolution of construction
industry in developed economies
5. Customer Management: a) Action planning against findings/issues from the Customer Feedback
survey b) For any product complaints: interface with the operations to handle the complaint and
resolve within timeline specified as per policy c) For any services complaint, analyse to identify the
cause and resolve within timeline specified as per policy
6. Safety: Ensure safe working environment at sales office as per the company standard and Safety
guidelines
Customers: Private and public contractors; Large and small-sized project customers
Influencers: Architects, Engineers, Masons, Govt Bodies
4. Knowledge, skills and experience
Educational qualifications
Degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Structural )
Full-time or Part-time MBA in Marketing & Sales will be preferred
Relevant experience Min. 3 years of experience in Marketing and Sales
