Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Manager with extensive experience in selling of Diesel Generating Set’s and Power Solutions for Oil & Gas, Mining and Data Centre Industries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the sales initiatives, developing key customers relationships, driving the growth in market sharing, managing customers specifications, and supporting business development activities. This role requires a deep understanding of power generation solutions, technical sales, and market expansion strategies.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth in the Oil & Gas, Mining and Data Centre sectors.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including large-scale projects and key accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, EPC contractors, consultants, and key decision-makers.
  • Provide technical expertise on Diesel Generating Set’s and Power Solutions, including load calculations, power system design, and hybrid power options.
  • Lead the sales process, including proposal preparation, contract negotiations, and closing deals.
  • Liaising closely with Application, Engineering,Factory, and Service teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Keep monitoring the market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to ensure adaptation with markets.
  • Develop and manage sales strategies, forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics.
  • Represent the company at trade exhibitions, industry events, and conferences.
  • Lead and mentor junior sales team members to enhance overall team performance.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of sales experience in diesel generators, power solutions, or industrial equipment.
  • Proven track record of selling to the Oil & Gas, Mining and Data Center sectors.
  • Strong background in power generation systems, backup power solutions, and hybrid energy solutions.
  • Strong background in prime movers “e.g. Diesel & Gas engines”, Alternators, Controllers and power generation systems.
  • Experience working with OEM’s, EPC’s, and Government Projects.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a results-driven mindset.
  • Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings and site visits.
  • Professional speaking, reading and writing in English language
  • The Candidate should have professional command in English language “speaking, writing and reading”. Knowing Arabic and French languages will be an asset.
