We are hiring on behalf of one of our prestigious clients, a premium dhow cruise services company in Dubai. We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Manager to lead the sales team and drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships and innovative sales tactics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, tourism, or events sales and a proven ability to deliver results in a competitive market.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth, increase revenue, and meet company targets.
  • Business Development: Identify new market opportunities and build relationships with key corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and tour operators.
  • Client Management: Manage and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve team sales objectives.
  • Event & Corporate Sales: Focus on generating large-scale group bookings, private events, and corporate charters, enhancing the company's profile in the luxury and corporate sectors.
  • Pricing & Package Development: Work with the operations and marketing teams to develop competitive and attractive pricing models, packages, and promotional offers.
  • Sales Reporting & Analysis: Track sales performance, analyze trends, and prepare regular reports for senior management, including forecasting and pipeline management.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences to adjust sales tactics and product offerings accordingly.
  • Collaboration with Marketing: Work closely with the marketing team to support campaigns and initiatives that drive sales leads and brand awareness.

Qualifications & Skills:


  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role, preferably within the hospitality, tourism, or events sectors.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets, with a strong ability to close deals and generate significant revenue growth.
  • Networking Skills: Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and other business partners.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Experience in leading and motivating a sales team, with excellent leadership and mentoring abilities.
  • Negotiation & Closing Skills: Expertise in negotiating contracts, closing high-value deals, and handling complex client requests.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in other languages such as Arabic is advantageous.
  • Sales Analytics: Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales reporting tools to track performance, analyze data, and provide actionable insights.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on client and event needs.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of Dubais tourism, hospitality, and luxury sectors, including the specific needs of high-end and corporate clients.
