Job Description
Sales and Business Development Manager required for a trading company dealing in “Valves, Flanges, and Pipe Fittings” pertaining to the Oil, Gas and Marine Industry.
With over 25 years of exeperience in this field, we wish to branch out our operations to UAE. Candidate should have good idea of UAE market and have knowledge and experience in these products.
Will be required to generate sales for the company, build a brand presence in both domestic and international markets, and be able to manage the business independently.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development & Sales Strategy:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the oilfield and marine industries, both domestically and internationally.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy, including market research, competitor analysis, and customer segmentation.
- Generate sales through a combination of direct outreach, networking, and marketing efforts.
- Expand our footprint in international markets by identifying key regions for export growth and establishing relationships with distributors and end clients.
2. Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers in the oil & gas and marine industries.
- Provide exceptional customer service and offer tailored solutions to meet client needs.
3. Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. (MBA or similar qualifications are a plus)
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in sales, with good knowledge of the local UAE market preferably in the oilfield, marine, or industrial supply sectors. Prior experience with valves, flanges, and fittings is highly desirable.
- Valid UAE Driving license.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets, managing key accounts, and driving new business growth.
- Export & International Sales Experience: Familiarity with export regulations, international markets, and the logistics of selling into global markets is highly preferred.
- Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of technical specifications for valves, flanges, and fittings, and the ability to communicate these to clients.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Self-Starter: Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
