Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Executive with experience in Air and Ocean freight forwarding solutions to build and scale our business and to drive growth across UAE. You will be a part of a high-performing Sales team responsible for solving customer problems with our tech-enabled Digital Freight Forwarding platform.
Based out of our Dubai office, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by generating new business opportunities and nurturing relationships with prospective direct Clients (Small, Medium & Large Enterprises). You will be responsible for understanding customer needs, presenting our solutions effectively, and closing sales deals.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect and identify potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and networking events.
- Qualify leads and conduct thorough needs assessments to understand the challenges and requirements of prospective clients.
- Articulate the value proposition of companys Freight Forwarding solutions and demonstrate how they address specific pain points and deliver tangible benefits.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations.
- Collaborate with the operations teams to seamlessly onboard clients.
Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase companys capabilities and features. - Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contract negotiations to close sales deals.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics on a consistent basis.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of the curve.
- Provide timely and accurate sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates to management.
- Regularly review sales performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
- At least 5+ years of experience in full cycle (prospecting to closing), quota carrying sales role. A valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
- 3+ years of experience in Freight Forwarding sales, and/or Supply Chain solution sales.
- No inbound leads; experience in cold-calling prospects.
- Demonstrated ability to run a sales discovery and demo meeting and run a structured sales process.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth in the logistics or freight industry.
- Strong English communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
