We’re looking for a Learning & Development Lead to join Snap Inc.! As part of the Sales Enablement team within our Sales Operations organization, your role will directly enable our revenue-driving teams by designing and delivering impactful learning programs. This includes a primary focus on new hire onboarding, establishing a solid ad tech foundation, and developing supplemental initiatives to enhance technical expertise and drive productivity organization-wide.
What you'll do:
Strategic Leadership & Collaboration:
Develop and execute a strategic learning plan for the MENA team, aligning with business goals and market needs.
Act as a key conduit between MENA sales learning and global learning teams, leveraging resources for organizational benefit.
Partner with MENA Sales Leadership and cross-functional teams (Sales Ops Strategy, Product Marketing, etc.) to identify learning gaps and enhance feedback loops.
Program Development & Delivery:
Design and deliver comprehensive new hire onboarding programs, focusing on ad tech and Snap's advertising solutions, tailored for the MENA market.
Create engaging learning experiences that enhance sales skills and technical knowledge, making complex information actionable.
Localize and adapt global training programs to address regional business needs and market-specific challenges.
Fluent in both Arabic and English to support multi-language training initiatives.
Performance Measurement & Optimization:
Assess and measure technical knowledge and performance using diverse evaluation techniques.
Analyze data, report on training impact, and provide data-driven recommendations for program improvements.
Utilize sales enablement platforms to deploy, manage, and track learning programs.
Project Management & Accountability:
Project manage and maintain training programs, ensuring continuous improvement.
Develop post-training accountability modules for managers to reinforce learning and embed best practices.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Highly skilled at adapting information from a variety of sources, without requiring past knowledge or background on the topic, into easy-to-understand learning resources.
Demonstrated excellence creating Enablement-related accountability and measurement models and materials (e.g., pre/post surveys, scenario-based test questions, broad knowledge checks, rubric scorecards with multiple dimensions, written or verbal practical certifications, etc.).
Experience creating supporting Enablement materials for a professional environment (e.g., job-aids, quick-start guides, demos, worksheets, blogs, podcasts, articles, workflows, decision trees, proficiency trackers, etc.).
Strong project management experience, with an ability to evaluate and re-prioritize rapidly and deliver results against aggressive deadlines, as part of a team and/or as an individual contributor.
Strong facilitation skills.
A track record of developing impact-focused, metrics-driven approaches to evaluate programs.
Instinct to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance.
Strong project management experience, with an ability to evaluate and re-prioritize rapidly and deliver results as part of a team and/or as an individual contributor.
Demonstrated understanding of sales and support roles, and a commitment to strengthening the sales process with knowledge, creativity, and empathy.
Minimum qualifications:
7+ years of experience in Instructional Design, Sales Enablement, Learning & Development, Sales Operations, Technical Support, Sales or related field.
Bachelor’s degree in a business, marketing, education, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Experience in a highly cross-functional role.
Fluency in both Arabic and English.
Preferred qualifications:
Deep subject matter expertise with digital media sales and technical advertising platforms.
Instinct to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance.
Experience analyzing vast amounts of data and making realistic, consistent and scalable recommendations to improve team’s productivity and operational rigor.
Able to correctly discern multiple options (with an eye for short and long term impact) and implement without additional guidance.
Organized and able to manage and deliver multiple tasks efficiently, effectively and on time in a metrics based organization.
Excellent test/question writing, copy editing, and general written/ verbal communication skills.
Experience administering LMS and Sales Enablement Platforms and tools to scale programs globally across large teams.
A track proven record of implementing objective, data-driven methodology to the evaluation of team member’s current technical knowledge, skills and behaviors.
Experience working as a regional function in a global organization.
