Sales and Marketing Manager – Travel Retail
Sales
- Support all sales initiatives within the Wine, Champagne, and Beer categories across designated customer groups.
- Develop and execute tailored sales strategies to drive performance across assigned accounts, focusing on sales growth, profitability, and service excellence.
- Communicate new product launches promptly and strive to maximize listings in duty-free outlets.
- Coordinate and confirm promotional calendars with Travel Retail customers across all relevant categories.
Marketing
- Collaborate with internal and external marketing teams to negotiate pricing structures, advertising and promotional plans, and rebate agreements within the Travel Retail channel.
- Manage the portfolio for Beers, Wines & Champagne including product listings, delistings, and brand/agency changes in coordination with senior leadership.
- Organize category-specific training sessions for Travel Retail partners and stakeholders.
- Conceptualize and develop Value-Added Packs (VAPs) in line with brand and customer guidelines.
Information Analysis
- Analyze sales data and trends to inform commercial strategies and action plans in collaboration with senior team members.
- Review the effectiveness of promotional activities in airport retail environments.
- Monitor and report on competitor promotional activity within the Travel Retail sector.
Relationship Management
- Maintain strong partnerships with key brand stakeholders within the wine category.
- Foster and enhance relationships with airport retail customers.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and operational standards across sales activities.
- Work collaboratively within the broader team to ensure alignment with organizational goals and strategic direction.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Volume growth in Travel Retail channel depletions
- Revenue growth and gross margin achievement by brand
- Market share increase in the wine category
- Distribution expansion across Travel Retail channels
- Effective negotiation and monitoring of budgets and rebates
- Evaluation of promotional return on investment
