ABOUT SAINT LAURENT
Founded in 1961, Yves Saint Laurent was the first couture house to introduce the concept of luxury prêt-à-porter in a 1966 collection called ‘Rive Gauche’, synonymous with youth and freedom. This shift represented a first critical step in the modernization of fashion and revolutionized the socio-cultural landscape.
In 1999, the luxury goods division of the Kering Group acquired Yves Saint Laurent and, under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello since April 2016, continues to position the house at the summit of the luxury universe.
Today, Saint Laurent collections include women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, shoes, handbags, small leather goods, jewelry, scarves, ties and eyewear.
Job Description
ROLE
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic finance intern to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in finance and be willing to learn and take on new challenges. As a finance intern, you will be exposed to various aspects of finance, including financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
RESPONISBILITIES
- Assist with financial reporting: To assist in the preparation of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Budget preparation: To be part of the preparation of annual budgets and forecasting.
- Financial analysis: To conduct financial analysis of the organization's financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas of improvement.
- To work closely with KSS to automate month end closing, to update the trackers on monthly basis for each department vs budget, highlighting any major variances, as well as to create Capex tracker file by coordinating with KSS and Store planning teams, ensuring all invoices are received and paid in timely manner.
- Support the finance team in day-to-day operations
- Assist in ad hoc projects
PROFILE
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High learning Agility and Proactivity
- Familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
