Job Description

  • Ability to conduct HSE orientation / induction/HSE awareness
  • sessions to workers
  • Ability to understand and implement HSE plans, Welfare plans,
  • Emergency response procedures/plans and site specific HSE procedures / work instructions.
  • Practical experience in implementation of SSOW (PTW/ WMS/ Risk Assessment etc.)
  • Awareness of practical H2S control measures.
  • Ability to conduct HSE inspections.
  • Ability to understand and implement incident reporting and investigation procedures
  • Ability to speak read and write English with good communication skills
  • To inspect and audit all site operations to monitor compliance with all statutory regulations and comply with health and safety policy.
  • Inspect all relevant files, forms and registers required to be kept at sites to ensure that the routine tests and inspections required by safety plan have duly been carried out and the results are properly recorded.
  • Monitor observation of site safety rules and where necessary issue warnings to those who do not abide by the H&S policy for rectification purposes in case of non compliances and unsatisfactory safety performances. Site improvement notices shall be raised wherever necessary.
  • Investigate all accidents/incidents etc. and make necessary recommendations.
  • Promote safety awareness on site by providing safety induction training and safety briefings to workers and supervisors, coordinate and organize relevant in-house or external training programs as needed.
  • Maintain relevant site safety files and records submit monthly safety reports to the project manager.
  • Enforce and monitor site security.
  • Monitor the activities of site medical attendants, verify and approve the quantities of monthly medicine requirements as per the predefined list.
  • Record, review and approve risk assessment and H&S method statement for all hazardous activities on site.
  • Handle problem areas and make necessary contingency arrangements.
  • Identify potential hazard areas and make necessary contingency arrangements.
  • Generate and encourage generation of suggestions to improve safety at work thus move towards making safety a collective effort. 


Experience : Minimum 5 years ( Minimum 2 years in Monitoring HSE implementation in Oil & Gas industry).


Education : Any Bachelor Degree OR Diploma (from an institution of higher learning authorized to grant academic degrees in the country of issue).


Professional / Technical Qualifications:

Minimum one of the following

  • NEBOSH IGC or Equivalent (Subject to approval by ADNOC Grouup.
  • Any other HSE certifications (considered at ADNOC Group discretion) Additional HSE Trainings / Certifications will be added advantage.
