Job Description

• Under direct supervision, performs basic and routine duties in a wide range of environmental, health and safety disciplines to achieve compliance with the ES&H standards along with federal and state regulatory requirements. 
• Assists in the development, implementation and maintenance of safety and health programs, systems and procedures. 
• Assists in monitoring hazards and diseases that could be present in the work area. 
• Works with others to investigate accidents, injuries and complaints concerning hazards in the workplace. 
• Participates in recommending improvement in processes, design, procedures and equipment to minimize hazards. 
• Participates in employee training, emergency preparedness and assures the quality of programs.



Qualifications

Essential Qualifications


  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience in Safety, Health, and Environment roles, with at least 5 years of demonstrable experience within the United Arab Emirates.
  • A relevant degree or diploma from a recognised institution in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a closely related field.

Additional Requirements


  • Comprehensive understanding of UAE and international safety, health, and environmental regulations and standards.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing safety and health programmes in complex industrial environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English, with the ability to deliver clear and impactful training sessions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multi-cultural environment.
