Your Opportunity  


We are looking for Safety and Assurance Administrator to provide support to the HSQE Manager and contract team with a cohesive contract administration service, promote timely reporting of safety and assurance deliverables, monthly key performance indicator data, monitoring of the safety and assurance portal (Assure) and the effective management of document, reports and data on Serco’s document repository system (The Hub).


The ideal candidate should have the ability to multi-task and manage various tasks, and good communication. Excellent organisation, time management and prioritizing skills. 


This role is part of the Serco Middle East / CSHD and will be based in Dubai.  


Key Accountabilities 


  • Provide an administrative support service to the HSQE Manager.
  • Coordinate the management of the safety and assurance deliverables including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other reports.
  • Coordinate the filing and record keeping requirements of the safety and assurance requirements of the contract. 
  • Ensure security and integrity of all data provided including reporting performance, finance and customer information; reference Serco non-disclosure policy
    Ensure compliance with all training requirements of Serco and ensure adherence to these requirements at all times whilst in employment
  • Protects information assets and data including both electronic and paper based from all threats whether internal, external, deliberate or accidental
  • Coordinate and issue Client and Management reports as requested. 
  • Gather information and details in providing weekly, monthly and annual activity safety and assurance reports.
  • Assist in gathering information and evidence as required for audits within the contract.
  • Assist with the production of standard operating procedures.
  • Ensures that the policies and procedures laid down by management are followed accurately at all times. 
  • Assist the HSQE Manager with all audit queries, including the drafting of replies. 
  • Perform miscellaneous administrative duties.
  • Assist the management team in relation to coordinating their enquiries relating to Safety and Assurance issues.
  • Manage the audit and inspection calendars, ensuring audits and inspections are undertaken as required.
  • Provide assistance as required to the Permit to Work Administrator
  • Perform and carry out duties as instructed/directed by the  HSQE Manager or a member of the Senior Management team.

Specific Requirements  


  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio and Word
  • Possess excellent customer service skills.
  • Have an eye for detail when producing documentation.
  • Maintain a professional demeanour at all times.
  • Ability to liaise in a professional and persuasive manner with staff/clients and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle confidential information in strict confidence.
  • A lively, energetic and strong personality a practical “can-do” attitude.
